As an Accounts Payable Associate, you’ll play a critical role behind the scenes, making sure vendors are paid correctly, financial data is rock‑solid, and the business keeps moving without a hitch.
This is not entry‑level AP. This is a role for someone who understands accounting processes, values confidentiality, and wants to be trusted with complex, high‑impact work.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Process and verify invoices with precision, accuracy, and confidentiality
- Review contracts and process grower settlements, charges, credits, and check runs
- Reconcile invoices for raw materials, packaging, finished goods, freight, storage, and utilities
- Match invoices to agreements and ensure rates, terms, and GL coding are correct
- Maintain vendor records and ensure proper tax documentation
- Assist with check runs, wires, manual checks, and stop payments
- Reconcile AP accounts to the General Ledger monthly
- Step in as backup for other AP functions when needed

What It Takes to Succeed
- Associate’s degree in Accounting
- 3+ years of accounting or AP experience
- Strong working knowledge of accounting systems
- Intermediate Excel skills (spreadsheets, formulas, data review)
- High ethical standards and absolute respect for confidentiality
- Strong time management and attention to detail
- Ability to analyze information, spot discrepancies, and solve problems
- A mindset focused on continuous improvement and teamwork
