Our Customer Service Associate offers a team-oriented, attentive individual the opportunity to provide Lakeside Foods retail and food service customers with product ordering and fulfillment support.  A keen interest in solving problems and offering alternative solutions to customer challenges is critical to success in the role.

What You'll Do:

 

  • Enter electronic and manual orders, cancellations and changes for multiple customer accounts with accuracy and a focus on customer needs and requirements
  • Manage customer accounts through proactive communication via phone, email, and customer website
  • Evaluate order accuracy - including pricing, order quantity and shipment status, and communicate any errors for correction
  • Act as a critical link between customers and internal teams, ensuring effective communication and support
  • Collaborate with internal teams, such as production and inventory, to ensure a smooth order fulfillment and address issues

 

What You'll Bring:

 

  • Associate's Degree in a related field or 3-5 years prior Customer Service experience
  • Prior experience with SAP in a Customer Service role a plus
  • Effective and concise communication ensuring quick understanding
  • Problem solving, ownership of resolution, and critical thinking
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively
