Position Summary

Here at Riverside the maintenance team is the backbone of operations, ensuring equipment runs optimally while taking care of the facility as well.  The Maintenance Manager coordinates the daily activities of the Maintenance department. You will be responsible for the preventative maintenance and repair of machinery, ensuring that the building and grounds are in good repair, procurement of parts and maintenance supplies, the proper use of LOTO (Lockout Tag Out) procedures when working on equipment, completion of work orders, and the proper use/completion of red tags by Maintenance Personnel.

What You’ll Do:

• Exhibit comprehension of GMP and HACCP/Preventative Controls requirements related to food safety, and demonstrate the proper cleaning and sanitation of equipment following fabrication or repairs.
• Manage department employees to ensure their safety, productivity and engagement on the job.
• Supervise highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and the plant facility’s equipment.
• Schedule maintenance personnel and outside contractors on a daily basis.
• Function as the emergency maintenance contact person.  
• Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting to diagnose problems.  
• Play a key role in replace/repair decisions.
• Member of senior leadership team.
• Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas. 

What You’ll Bring:

• Previous industrial maintenance experience preferred or a strong mechanical aptitude with a willingness to learn
• Experience with a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment.
• Welding experience preferred but not required.
