Lakeside Foods is seeking dependable, safety‑focused individuals to operate harvesting equipment during the growing season. This position is responsible for safely and efficiently operating machinery such as harvesters, combines, tractors, and related equipment to support our field operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently operate combines, tractors, harvesters, pickers, and other harvesting equipment to collect crops.
• Conduct routine pre‑operation inspections to ensure all machinery is in safe, proper working condition.
• Monitor and adjust equipment settings to optimize performance based on varying field and crop conditions.
• Load and unload harvested crops into designated trailers or trucks.
• Perform basic maintenance, including cleaning, greasing, and minor repairs, to keep equipment operating reliably.
• Maintain all work areas, machinery, and tools in a clean, orderly condition.
• Promptly report any unsafe conditions, equipment malfunctions, or potential hazards to Supervisors or Management.

Qualifications

• Experience operating farm equipment preferred, but training will be provided.
• Strong commitment to safety and adherence to company procedures.
• Ability to work independently and adapt to changing field conditions.
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to perform basic equipment maintenance.
• Ability to work extended or variable hours during peak harvest periods.
